Newly designed and built residence
A large interior space in an apparently small shell. An entry area connects the barn-like garage and four bedrooms to the major volume containing the common living areas and a master suite. Zoning law limited the ridge height to 18 feet so the Garage/Bedroom wing was partially sunk into the grade to accommodate. The common areas of Living, Dining, and Kitchen are unified by an open, timber-trussed ceiling.
